RITA'S IS A TREAT DESSERT COMPANY THAT HAS BEEN IN BUSINESS SINCE 1984. WE SERVE OVER 50 DIFFERENT FLAVORS. WE SERVE ITALIAN ICE, CUSTARD AND WE HAVE MISTOS AND BLENDINIS WHICH IS A COMBINATION OF FRESH FRUIT AND OUR DIFFERENT ICE FLAVORS. WE HAVE OVER 560 STORES IN THE UNITED STATES AND RECENTLY EXPANDED INTO TEXAS AND ARIZONA. WHEN WE FIRST STARTED OUR MOVE TO THIS NEW LOCATION, WE WERE EXPANDING. WE INTERVIEWED MANY TECHNOLOGY COMPANIES. WEIDENHAMMER SEEMED TO BE THE BEST FIT FOR US BOTH FROM AN INFRASTRUCTURE STANDPOINT AS WELL AS A DEVELOPEMNT STANDPOINT. WHEN WE WERE DOING THE SELECTION OF OUR VENDORS, WE HAD DISCUSSED THE INCORPORATION OF AN INTERNAL NETWORK USING OUR MASS 200 ENVIRONMENT FOR ACCOUNTING, ALL OF OUR WEB HOSTING FOR ALL 3 OF OUR WEBSITES AS WELL AS VOICE OVER IP. AND WEIDENHAMMER AND CISCO WERE ABLE TO PROVIDE THE SUPPORT WE NEEDED TO ACCOMPLISH THIS. FROM A TECHNOLOGY STANDPOINT, WE HAVE ONE INTERNAL SYSTEM THAT WE RUN ON OUR INTERNAL NETWORK FOR THE ACCOUNTING SYSTEM WE USE A MASS 200 ENVIRONMENT WHICH PROVIDES THE ACCOUNTING DEPARTMENT WITH ALL THE FUNCTIONALITY THEY REQUIRE. WE HAVE 3 WEBSITES, 2 OF THEM ARE CONSUMER BASED, ONE TO ATTRACT NEW FRANCHISE PARTNERS. THE OTHERS PROVIDE INFORMATION ABOUT OUR DIFFERENT TREATS. AND THE THIRD WEBSITE IS MORE FOR A BACK OFFICE PROCESS FOR THE PARTNERS TO COMMUNICATE THEIR INFORMATION TO CORPORATE. THE INFRASTRUCTURE THAT WE HAVE HAS HELPED PROVIDE SUPPORT TO ALL OF OUR CORPORATE STAFF HERE IN THE MAIN BUILDING , PARTICULARLY OVER THE VOICE OVER IP. THEY'VE MADE IT VERY EASY WITH THE CISCO CALL MANAGER SYSTEM FOR US TO CONTROL ALL OF THE EXTENSIONS AND CALL FORWARDING AND THOSE TYPES OF ENVIRONMENTS SO THAT WE CAN PROVIDE THE BEST SERVICE THAT WE CAN TO OUR STAFF HERE AS WELL AS TO THE FRANCHISE PARTNERS THAT WE HAVE. TECHNOLOGY HAS STREAMLINED US TO THE POINT OF WHERE WE DON'T HAVE MULTIPLE DATABASES WEHRE WE'RE TRYING TO INTEGRATE INFORMATION ACROSS THOSE DATABASES AND THEN COME UP WITH REPORTS WHAT WE HAVE TO DO NOW, IS JUST RUN A SINGLE REPORT AGAINST A SINGLE DATABASE AND GET THE DESIRED RESULTS. WITH THE CHANGING OF TECHNOLOGY TODAY WE NEED TO HAVE A GOOD SUPPORT OF COMPANIES LIKE WEIDENHAMMER OR CISCO SO THAT WE CAN KEEP ABREAST OF ALL THE LATEST CHANGES AND MAKE SURE THAT WE ARE MAKING USE OF THE LATEST TECHNOLOGIES. WE FEEL VERY CONFIDENT THAT WEIDENHAMMER KEEPS UP TO DATE WITH ALL THE TECHNOLOGY THAT'S TAKING PLACE AND KEEPS US ABREAST OF WHAT IS HAPPENING AND HOW IT MIGHT BE ABLE TO ASSIST US.
